The ARPA-H FASTPASS program seeks rapid, non-destructive, through-packaging screening tools to verify pharmaceutical quality and safety at ports, distribution hubs, and customs without opening outer containers.
Combining HALO X-ray Diffraction (XRD) with Raman Spectroscopy delivers a multimodal, non-invasive analytical pipeline. While HALO XRD provides deep-penetrating, bulk crystalline structure identification through heavy/opaque packaging, Raman Spectroscopy offers high-resolution molecular fingerprinting of liquid, amorphous, and chemical compositions. Together, this hybrid approach resolves 100% of non-destructive screening requirements across all container types.
